Cardinal Tetra
The Cardinal Tetra is a vibrant and popular freshwater fish native to the upper Orinoco and Negro River systems of South America. It is prized for its striking coloration, featuring a brilliant iridescent blue stripe paired with a bold red band that extends across the entire length of its body and into the tail.
Often compared to Neon Tetras, this species stands out due to its full-length red stripe, creating a more vivid and continuous color display. Under proper lighting, their shimmering hues add exceptional visual appeal to any aquarium.
Peaceful and social, Cardinal Tetras are ideal for community tanks and display beautiful shoaling behavior when kept in groups, bringing life and movement to planted aquariums.
